Hancock County government and administration are operating without an approved 2025 Budget, in accordance with section 3-025 6 i and section 3-07 2.2 in the official code ordinances dated 08 May, 2012.

Hancock County Board of Commissioners has issued conflicting statements in various private and public forums including HCPOA monthly meeting, church services and the BOC meetings regarding the critical matter of county wide waste management and disposal. Since tax revenue covers the cost of the county website, why is the Board not properly utilizing that platform as a central repository to effectively and consistently disseminate accurate information to all residents? Additionally, Hancock County government maintains a public Facebook page where the same information could be published.
